Rickerby Retreat - Carlisle

We enjoyed a fantastic selection of cocktails, available at a 2-for-1 deal on Thursday evenings from 5 to 8 PM. We also tried the deli platter, which featured an excellent variety of bread, cheese, chutney, olives, croquettes, quiche, and sausage rolls—none of which we had tasted before. Everything was delicious! The staff was very attentive and made our experience even better.

I took my mother for afternoon tea to celebrate her 86th birthday, and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The selection of sandwiches, warm pastries, scones, and cakes was delightful. The terrace had ample space for my mom in her wheelchair, and the view was stunning. I will definitely recommend this place. A big thank you to the wonderful staff!

I visited for lunch today and had a fantastic experience on a sunny day, especially enjoying the rooftop terrace. The food selection was limited but really excellent. The atmosphere was exclusive and relaxed, making it a perfect spot. The staff were very professional and courteous. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy drinks and a meal.
