The bacon sandwich was tasty and served promptly at a reasonable price of £3. The restaurant has a slightly run-down appearance with many handwritten signs. They only accept cash, which could have been inconvenient as I typically only carry cards and didn't realize until after placing my order.
This charming little café is tucked away just off the bustling shopping streets. While it may go unnoticed by many, it is definitely worth a visit. The two women who own and operate the café are delightful and welcoming, and the food is delicious, mostly homemade. The selection of cakes is tempting, and it's clear they have a loyal customer base. If you're looking for a break from the typical chain coffee shops, consider giving smaller independent cafes like this one a chance – you may be pleasantly surprised.
