The Fryery - Carlisle

I had a wonderful lunch at The Fryery on January 26, 2022. The staff was very friendly, portion sizes were generous, and the food quality was a perfect 10 out of 10. I highly recommend visiting!

As always, the quality of the food is excellent and reasonably priced, all served by genuinely friendly and helpful staff.

I had a dish of small fish and chips served on the tiniest plate imaginable, which was quite delightful to eat. However, there were too many tables crammed together.

A really nice chippy! came to carlisle for the day and saw the offer of sampi and chips for £5.25, can not go wrong with it! my elders got this and I got my rest from shattered and chips. the customer service was great. had to wait some time for our food, but I was not too vain as they must be patient in times of pandemic. would have come back if I visited carlisle again

When we go to Carlisle, we only eat at The Fryery because the food has always been excellent. however, this day we went it appears there were a lot of very small chips that needed to be disposed of and they appeared on my plate. I don't mind a few small ones it is expected, but I must have got the majority of everyone else's that lunch time, that is why I left them on my plate Still give it four stars, would have been five as usual but for the vast amount of small chips
