The Nosey Cow Inn - Carlisle

I have discovered a new favorite restaurant in Carlisle. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was just right. My wife and I ordered the pollo alla aglio pizza and the penne salsiccia piccante, which had a nice spicy kick to it. This combination meal was delicious! Instead of dessert, we opted for cocktails - the Gerry the Giraffe and the Tipsy Cow, which were both delightful. We ended up staying for over 3 hours with the in-laws. I can't wait to try the roast dinner next time, as I've heard it's amazing!

Our favorite restaurant in Carlisle is Reese's. We love how they always take care of our little boy, which is the main reason we keep coming back.

I don’t normally leave 5 reviews and I’ve eaten in plenty of nice restaurants (most of them a rip off down south) but this has to be one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time, paired with the most friendly staff. To go into specifics I had the rack of lamb, which was cooked to perfection and the quality was outstanding. All of the veg and sides were also perfectly cooked, hot and delicious. To top it all off the dessert selection is always the most important for me and I went for the Apple Tarte Tatin which was better than a one I had in a Michelin star restaurant. The presentation of all the 8 desserts we ordered was exquisite. A massive thank you to the team and hats off to the chef!
