Shapla Indian - Carlow

5 Stars why? Ordered online accidentally when we asked Google to call, so we did not see them number, as we have a Shapla in Letterkenny. When we called back later and offered to pay for this sizeable order, the Manager very kindly said “Thank you but that will not be necessary”. We love our Shapla in Letterkenny, but we will recommend Shapla Carlow to anyone in Carlow. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

Food was good but I am left with doubts about this place because the service was slow and vibe was quite off...they seemed disorganised/slow I was waiting over 30 minutes for my food when I was told 15-20 mins. That said, I like food when its properly cooked. Just need to improve the service. The crackers to start seemed a bit bad but I'm not familiar with Indian so I cant be sure. My dog seemed to think they were fine anyway

This was my first visit to this restaurant and my first time in Ireland. My wife and I had a great meal. It was very quiet as there was only one other table occupied. I had the Shapla Special Tandoori Mixed with Pilau Rice, and my wife had the Lamb Korma with Mushroom Rice. Both dishes were delicious.
