Mariscos El Buchón - Carlsbad

As Texans, we understood that this wasn't your typical Tex-Mex experience. I have to say, the food was outstanding! The Carne Asada tower was incredibly flavorful, and the chicken tacos were fantastic as well. They served us some complimentary hot fish broth, which was ice-cold outside but warmed us up nicely. I’m not sure what it was, but it was delicious! I highly recommend this place!

Very authentic. The service was professional despite the language barrier. Perhaps the best guacamole and salsa I've ever had? I had a Jarritos, but I wish I had tried her mojito; it looked really good. I've always wanted to try grilled octopus, so I ordered it. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten. They prepare it and serve it with a tangy, smoky sauce similar to A1. It was like a steak, but even better. I wish I lived closer because this place is a must-visit for seafood lovers.

Good food. Had a fish soup cup. The Kalamari was very good. We ate a pretty good variety and nothing we didn't like.

Food is amazing coming hungry they serve abundantly and is delicious the service was excellent we wanted the soup, but we asked if it was spicy, she brought us 2 small samples for us to try it was spicy but tasty we did not order, but it was very nice of them to try everything else excellent

The best ever! This was perfect for sharing as the servings are huge. We got the pulpo which was cooked perfectly, but was spicy. It was gone within minutes haha. We also got the molcajete and omg everything in it was delicious! If we ever happen to come through carlsbad again we will definitely eat here again.
