Pizza Express - Carmarthen

We have been here several times before, and enjoyed our meals. This time there seemed to be different staff. The calzone which I normally have was about three quarters of the usual size, but the plate was made up with extra green leaves. My wife had a glass of white wine which was fine. She had a second glass after her meal. The second glass was at room temperature, obviously the bottle had not been put back in the fridge. She was asked if she wanted ice cubes in her wine. Pizza Express sort your staff out!!!

I visited yesterday 9th November with my husband we both had a pizza which was ok but there was a faint taste of chemicals it reminded me of the cleaner I use for my windows. I then noticed the person who had made and cooked our pizza was cleaning the area around the counter with a spray, he was moving plates and other items and spraying the area and then wiping with a cloth. I now knew where the taste had come from. It’s obvious to me that any spray will contaminate surrounding surfaces and food. I never saw this person wash his hands before making further pizzas. Lovely pizza but I don’t want to be ingesting chemicals.

Popped in for some lunch today and had a lovely meal , accompanied by great service from our lovely waiter Theo! Thanks so much for a great meal! :

We arrived after watching a film in Vue cinema. We were shown to our table by a young lady. We were served by a young lad. He was very polite, we asked for a topping to be changed on my pizza which was no bother at all. The food was delicious. I really liked the garlic butter on the pizza. Puddings were lovely. Great service and it was nice to see the staff cleaning in-between serving customers

Sorry to say but tonight was a very poor experience Waitress was very poor did not communicate well with us Very slow Too much missing off menu and not advised at start when menus given. Daughter got her 3rd meal choice in the end One item of food forgotten 20 minutes late for our film next door in cinema due to food being so slow. When I booked I was helpfully asked my film time to avoid any delays Had vouchers and this seemed to be an issue processing them making us later Expensive Shame as they had the monopoly in the area as one restaurant closed down one shut for the evening
