The Stag - Carmarthenshire

Very informal and felt welcome. Food was fine, but hardly anything on the menu available no pork, no chicken, no garlic bread, no wings, no chops…. Decoration needs attention looks quite tatty and unkempt, lacks finesse and attention to detail. Manager/front of house/ chef knew other customers well leading to a friendly atmosphere. Huge potential, but not quite there.

Visited a few weeks back as was recommended the Sunday carvery, there was only a small selection of veg, three meats, just didn’t seam as good as other venues. Chef using same knife to cut all the meats.

Stunning mixed grill everything cooked to perfection staff friendly and professional couldnt ask for more

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was cold and inedible, and the service was even worse. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Booked for sunday lunch. Best cavery weve had in llanelli. Although it was very busy the staff were still very attentive and we will definately be back for sunday lunch again... must try!
