While it was decent, you could clearly tell it was a frozen deep dish pizza they cooked upon order. It just wasn't fresh. We also ordered a small sausage thin crust. Crust and cheese were overcooked but tomatoes were delicious. Also ordered bruschetta appetizer and ratio of tomatoes/cheese was way smaller than bread. Not sure I'll be back.
I have a huge complaint. I placed an 8:00pm order and was given a pick up curbside time of 8:45pm. We had to wait for 15 minutes. No big deal even though it felt torturous because we were starving and had been commuting for hours in a car. Nevertheless the order was place for a gluten free pizza for a celiac customer. It was communicated clearly that they take every measure possible to assure that her pizza is gluten free. We brought the food to our hotel and ate. Well mydaughter has suffered -it is now 11:47 pm and her nightmare has begun. She has been nauseous since the pizza and now we tested the food and confirmed there were traces of gluten. It is unacceptable that we were ensured that the safety andhealth of our daughter would be taken seriously and she would be safe, as she has been with other locations in the past. I am profoundly disappointed in this facility and their lack of caution and am reluctant to give my daughter LouMalnati?s pizza in the future.
Wanted to try this place because we wanted a custom deep dish, and it definitely didnt disappoint! We did have to wait a little bit for our order but the pizza was awesome. For $25, we got a medium deep dish (6 giant pieces) with extra cheese, buttercrust, and garlic. It was definitely worth the price and I would highly recommend stopping by. One thing to know is that Lou's DOES NOT have any seating so you'll have to take the pizza home. I definitely recommend tryingthis place out!
A large pizza will feed an army! Defiantly the best deep dish I have ever had. I had their thin crust in Chicago, was also very good. It?s worth the money! I got mine with sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, onions, and light sauce. Not a fan of the crust, but it was not terrible. I am going to get xtra cheese next time.
Sausage crust pizza is amazing! Pricey, but worth every penny. The cheesy bread was very disappointing given their quality of pizza. It was Gordon Food Service white bread with a little bit of cheese melted on it. Stick with the pizza. You won't be disappointed.
