Eating was good, especially the lobster quesadilla. our server was excellent to keep our glasses filled. the indoor terrace heaters were however very hot and everyone out there complained about the heat.
Delicious as always! This is the only Mexican restaurant we choose to visit!
This is the first time I've been disappointed with a meal at this restaurant. It used to be my favorite upscale Mexican place, but now I'm having second thoughts. My fish tacos were tough and overcooked, lacking flavor. My daughter ordered the poblano burrito and found its texture and taste quite strange; I agreed when I tried it. On the positive side, the drinks were delicious as always. We were celebrating my daughter's 25th birthday, which I noted in the reservation, but there was no acknowledgment of it during our visit. I mentioned it to the waitress early on, but nothing was done to celebrate her special day.
The food was just okay. I tried the Arroyo Burrito, which cost a staggering $19.75, and was quite disappointing. I suppose I should have thought twice about ordering a fish and shrimp burrito in Indiana. It was mostly filled with beans and had a lot of unappetizing vegetables. I could barely find one small shrimp and a similarly tiny piece of fish in the whole burrito. I definitely wouldn't order it again if I ever return to this restaurant.
