Porkopolis Bbq - Carmel

I ordered the lunch special with wings and a beer, and it was definitely worth the $12. My wife had the three-meat platter (Turkey, Brisket, and Ribs), and we were both very satisfied with our meals. The Sweet-N-Smokey sauce was excellent. The only reason I didn't give a five-star rating is that I wanted to order a second serving of ribs! The service was very friendly, and I would definitely recommend this place.

The food was delicious and the restaurant was very clean. I had the burned ends and they were the best I ever had! They were special on Wednesday, so they were halfway away. I will definitely visit this place again to try out more items from the menu. The staff was very friendly and professional. They are only open for 3 months, so I think that many of the bad reviews they have received are due to growing pain of being a new business. You will not be disappointed if you give them a chance. They also serve alcohol!!

The restaurant is conveniently located right next to the marathon. I tried some unique dishes there, and I must say, they were great! During the bacon festival, I had tacos that were absolutely delicious. I’m definitely planning to order the brisket next time! The service was excellent, and the menu is quite eclectic—definitely not your typical BBQ joint. I highly recommend giving it a try; you won’t regret it! Just a heads-up, I was so hungry that I dove into my food before snapping a picture, so I’ll share what I could!

This review focuses on the service I received during my visit. I ordered a salad, which isn't the most typical choice at a BBQ restaurant. I went for lunch on a weekday, and my waitress was both fun and pleasant. I did have to wait a few minutes longer than other customers for my food, but she had already made a friendly impression. I ordered the pulled chicken salad, which was delicious, and the dressings were all flavorful. The waitress who delivered my salad playfully teased me about choosing a salad at a BBQ spot. The manager was also attentive; he walked around the dining area and stopped by our table after we finished to check on us. Overall, the customer service was excellent.

Want burnt ends on half off Wednesday, get them before 3pm. Smoked wings are awesome, house salad fresh and tasty, pleasantly surprised at draft selection, staff attentive on slow midweek. Thursday 10 wings beer $10 bucks, what’s not to like here!!
