Intrigued, we decided to stop in for a relaxing Friday afternoon visit during their soft opening. The service was outstanding and we were impressed by their efficiency. We plan to make Prodigy a regular stop on our dining rotation as it's a great spot to watch a game or unwind. Additionally, they offer my two favorite IPAs, Daredevil Liftoff and Elysian Space Dust. Feeling indulgent, I tried the Edison breadsticks which were reminiscent of savory cannoli and absolutely delicious.
Today we went for lunch, my fiance won a hamburger contest. Overall, I thought the restaurant was nice and had a great atmosphere. The milkshake was delicious, the lemonade was amazing, and the burgers were very tasty and juicy. However, they had a lot of jalapeños which made them very spicy, good for me but too much for my fiance who found them too hot to handle.
I went to the North Carmel location for lunch today. My husband had the classic burger and I had the Cobb salad, both were excellent. The salad was very fresh. We also ordered cheese curds thinking they would be served as an appetizer, but they came with our meal and at that point we didn't really want them. William (Wii.I.Am) was a great bartender (we sat at the bar) and it seemed like he was running the entire place!
I stopped for a quick lunch and should have known to leave when I was their only customer on a Friday at 1 pm. I ordered an ice tea and a 6oz burger for $15.00 Before tax. Ok, if it was a great burger. But, in this case, the food was pre-cooked and served after reheating and dipped into beef juices. They used Two 3 oz over-cooked patties that make McDonald's hamburgers taste gourmet. WORST burger ever! I definitely will go out of my way to spread the word about howterrible this food is.
Over priced and not worth the money. They got rid of the best thing on the menu. Their burgers are so greasy and taste average. I recommend going to any other 100+ burger restaurants in Carmel
