Valley Hills Deli Bbq - Carmel

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service was prompt. I tried the chicken sandwich, which was packed with flavor and a good portion for the price, though I felt that at $14, it should have included a side. The hot dog was tasty as well, but at $11, it also lacked any sides. We ended up ordering a side of fries for $5, and they turned out to be the highlight of our meal—super crispy and full of flavor. The sauces that accompanied the fries were also quite tasty. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely stop by. The outdoor seating area is nice, and they offer a good selection of drinks. It's a charming spot to relax and catch up with friends after a hike or some time spent outdoors.

The tri-tip sandwich was absolutely amazing—truly one of the best sandwiches we've ever tasted. I actually wanted to order another one the next day, but sadly, we had to leave town and head home. The brisket was delicious as well, though I felt it could have cooked a bit longer to render more of the fat. Nevertheless, it was still quite flavorful. We finished off our meal with a lovely picnic, enjoying a variety of takeout items. I highly recommend this place!

We needed a plan for lunch for the following day with a busy day of activities. Found this place on Yelp and ordered online. We showed up and there was someone inside at the register but the place was locked up and closed. The lady unlocked the door and asked us if we had ordered online. She apologized to us and informed us that they had JUST opened and were working out kinks for their online ordering service. Bummer. But she was so kind about it. So we came back another time with the kids for lunch. The salads are packed so hard it could technically feed 4 grown humans. The sandwiches were delish and the kids ate everything we ordered so that's a win. Can't wait to try their breakfast burrito!!

Grabbed a breakfast burrito and food to go for a hike. Best BLT I can remember. Nice to have another quality option in the valley.
