Sticks N Flames - Carmona

My family had dinner at this restaurant in December 2015. I personally recommend this place as I know the food is usually delicious. We have had our office meetings here several times. However, on this particular day, I was disappointed by the food. We ordered Bulalo, one of my favorite dishes, but it was bland. I even had others try it and they agreed. When I mentioned this to the waiter and asked for a replacement, the chef came to our table and suggested that our taste buds might be too sensitive to salt. I explained my concerns to the chef, who said he would inform the owner, May's wife. The restaurant is now called Sitio Latag, so perhaps they have revamped their menu.

We were disappointed with our experience at the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and the presentation of the food was satisfactory. Unfortunately, the taste of the food was not up to par, leaving a less than desirable impression.

The restaurant had lovely music, a great ambiance, and delicious food. The staff, like most people in the Philippines, were friendly and efficient. I ordered the squid and chicken dish, while my friends tried several other menu items. Overall, the food was delicious, reasonably priced, and we enjoyed cold beers to accompany our meal.

But I don't know what happened on that day, why food turned out bad that day, I remember it was a weekday. We ordered bulalo, one of my favorite dish, as I tried on the soup, it was bland, I even ask the nanny of my son to have a taste, she said the same. So I asked the waiter to taste and if possible change or recreate. Instead the chef went to our kubo and said that maybe our taste bud for salt is too high, that nothing is wrong with the bulalo. I told the chef that I will just course my concern thru Ms. May, I believe she's the owner of the restaurant. Presently, the restaurant is named Sitio Latag, maybe they reinvented their menu.

Our expectations were not met. The place looked nice enough, food presentation was also acceptable. However, the taste of the food was a bit bland.
