Chevillard Yvon - Carnac

We have been coming to this boulangre for 6 years when we visit Carnac and it's defiantly the best for breakfast pastries and breads we have tried the others but it just doesn't compare this it the BEST! Thank you

Vicinissima al Museo di preistoria, alla chiesa di san cornelio e al museo di preistoria abbiamo potuto mangiare la migliore baguette di Francia. Pane ottimo e freschissimo, baguette imbottita a scelta al momento e senza parsimonia e abbiamo anche visto una gran quantità di dolci dall'aspetto davvero ottimo. La baguette si può gustare all'interno del locale, comunque molto affollato oppure sotto il portico del vicinissimo ufficio del turismo o nell'antistante piazzetta se è una bella giornata. un insolito ma piacevolissimo pic nic.

Grand choix de pains divers, service toujours souriant. Possibilité de déjeuner avec terrasse face au port à la Trinité sur Mer.

August mid-day in Carnac centre can be very busy & tricky to find spaces to eat well and at a reasonable price. We thought that we'd have to "make do" with Maison Chevillard "Salon de The" but - what a find! Freshly made food was available from the Boulangerie; it was top quality (as one reviewer points out, no cheap supermarket ham served here!); the cakes were so scumptious (and well-proportioned!) that we had to wrestle ourselves over whether to eat them immediately or be good and take some with us for later! Staff were really helpful, considerate of our modest French language ability and patiently explained our options.Tip: we found that the day's suggestion of any quiche with any dessert was excellent value - lovely choice of tasty, individual quiches served with a salad, and awesome choice of cakes (everything you'd expect from a good French boulanger-patissier!)Service was very speedy but in every other way this is no "fast food" establishment. There were just two of us, but small families with young children seemed equally well catered for.If we're ever back in the area we shall certainly be revisiting La Maison Chevillard!

Alors notre expérience dans cette boulangerie-pâtisserie s'est limitée exclusivement à son "salon de thé" qui fait plus café niveau mobilier quand même.Un passage rapide le 21 à midi dans cette partie de l'établissement où l'on peut s'assoir et où l'on viendra prendre votre commande et vous servir.Nous avons opté pour un croque monsieur consistant et appétissant, tout frais passé au grill, bien garni de fromage et surtout de VRAI jambon, pas du collage de bouts de viande industriel, type cafétéria de supermarché.Une orange pressée, nickel. Pour les estomacs motivés il y a des formules, genre petit déj, plat+ pâtisserie... Vous êtes en plein centre bourg historique avec tous les petits commerces. A signaler 60 mètres plus bas l'entrée d'un grand parking gratuit où le disque de stationnement est INDISPENSABLE sauf entre 12h et 13h30. Je m'y suis garé vers 11h40 et j'ai croisé (en allant vers mon repas qui m'attendait) les très jeunes agents de la ville en train de commencer leur constatations d'infraction causant un trouble à l'économie locale sur leur bidule électronique, parking aux 3/4 vide, il était urgent de sévir!
