The Blue Heron Golf Course - Carnation

Greens seem to be horrible condition; no putts held their line, bumps everywhere. Pace of play was decent, but the fact that there was a tournament that started right before we got there, meant no carts or push carts. Overall disappointed with the course, but the price was right for what we got, I guess.

Overall, great course. There's some water drainage issues, but it didn't effect the play of the course.

Just went, we really wanted to use a cart but there were none to rent at 9am. Also the push carts we were charged for were falling apart and I had to fix up some janky strap system with my bag to stop it from falling off. Pace of play was not enforced and there is no Marshall. There were two groups, ours and another, both set for 9am. So we were stacked on each other and waiting for long periods of time to tee off. For a muni course the tee boxes and greens are not taken care of, most of it is hard dirt. Pretty much impossible to put a tee in the ground and the greens are so unkept. Not worth 50$. Maybe 20. Seems to be run by teenagers

I learned how to play golf on this course, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. That being said these may have been the worst greens I have ever played on. Nearly impossible to make a putt outside of 5 feet. If someone put some money into this place it has potential but you get what you pay for.

I had the lamb burger and was not happy with my sandwich. it was very bland and it was not what I was expecting...
