Wow! I’m so excited that there's a Korean restaurant in Carnegie, and it’s absolutely fantastic! I’ve ordered from DonDon quite a bit in the past, and after their merger, the food was pretty average Chinese, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from Kasai’s Korean BBQ. It’s a family-owned restaurant with incredibly friendly service, and you can really tell that the food is made with care. I was amazed at how delicious everything was. I ordered the regular chicken bulgogi meal, which came with rice, kimchi, and a salad with yum yum sauce dressing. My friends tried the shrimp bulgogi and various side dishes, and everything was outstanding. I’m quite particular about Asian food and have high standards, so when I say Kasai deserves a five-star rating, I truly mean it. I really hope more people recognize that their food is completely different from DonDon’s and offers better quality and flavors in my opinion. This is a fantastic addition to Carnegie, and I can’t wait to order from them for delivery on Uber Eats next time!

My wife and I decided to get takeout from this restaurant while exploring Carnegie. The area has a fascinating mix of places to discover, and my wife wanted to try something new, so we chose Korean BBQ. I ordered their popular BBQ dish, which came in a large takeout container. It included BBQ meat, vegetables, and a decent amount of spicy seasoning served over rice. The balance between rice and the other ingredients was a bit off, with a little too much rice, but overall it was really tasty. The portion was so generous that I had to save some for another meal. This spot serves excellent Korean BBQ and offers a refreshing change from the typical dining options in Pittsburgh. I highly recommend giving it a shot!
