Contribuisci feedbackWe have stopped in this cracker barrel for several years and found the breakfast in the regular pretty good. last week we went and eat and the service were terrible. our coffee, when he arrived 15 minutes after the drop, was lukewarm. the meal was disgusting eggs were cold, potato casserole looked like vomiting, speck was fair and we got only one cookie for each of us who was dry and tasteless (they gave 2 cookies per person). for the first time in my life, I didn't give a tip on the waitress because the service was so bad and eating was so annoying. if it hadn't been because we were hurried, we would have gone out. we only ate the eggs and speck. we will never return.
After the third time of issues with my order, I decided to write a review. Tonight after waiting 1 hr 30 mins (45 minutes in lobby) for online order pickup, food was lukewarm and missing items. While in lobby, 3 staff members gave different stories i.e, short staffed, had to make chicken and dumplings. There were no other orders or customers picking up take out the whole time standing there. After calling and speaking to manager about excessive wait and missing items he continued to say that it was quick because we are in a pandemic and that they are not short staffed and everyone is ordering take out (lie #4). He did not even try to make it right with missing items or offer refund or credit or anything to right the situation. If I hadn’t already paid, I would have walked out. Never again!!
DISAPPOINTEDAlthough the food tastes good, the 2 is for the food's presentation and the Manager's response when we complained.On one plate, the chicken dumplings was thrown on the plate to one side like it was about to spill off the plate.On the other plate the chicken dumplings and macaroni and cheese was on the same plate touching running together one wet the other soupy instead of the mac/cheese on a separate dish.When we told the manager who came to the table, he said, That's the way it's served here He didn't offer to fix it at all.We explained that when you go to a restaurant, the food presentation is just as important as the taste of the food, period.We were very DISAPPOINTED and we had eaten there before with no problems.
It is a cracker barrel, so they know what they expect in terms of food. what was a little set was the cleanliness of the restaurant, the floors were dirty and sticky, thick dust on the base heating. the woman's bath smells like urine. the service was friendly and fast and the food was decent. for the price its a good value when considering many other restaurants, charge $17 for huh when cracker barrel it was $12. the food came out very quickly.
Woman and I have been here a few times a year since this opening. decent food, normally good service, except for this visit. the waitress took 15 minutes to reach us after we set ourselves. another 10 minutes for drinks and another 20 minutes for eating. sufficient waitress in the es pane. other guests with different servers had their orders delivered faster, drinks delivered faster and eat faster. we were basically ignored by our waitress. but I don't let a server ruin the whole setup. Wait a minute to get a table. great business and friendly staff. Sit. they will have a pleasant meal.
