Les Fous is an excellent fusion of all that is good about an English pub and a French bar. It is welcoming, unpretentious, simply furnished, excellent home brewed beer (so I'm told and very acceptable wines (my department! The friendly owners are bilingual and seem...to have a great mix of loyal local and holiday trade. Food is served at the weekend (be sure to book and is just totally mouth watering! The price is modest and if I lived next door I would be there every day! Appealingly for the british visitor food is served in the evening as well as lunch time (Most french restaurants do not open at night in rural areas of Brittany Can't wait for our next trip!
Love this place, Don Trish are so welcoming, great micro beer brewed on site really good food, visit for a few days each July every year always manage to visit. They also have a lot of knowledge on local places to visit...will be back next year.
Extraordinary to find an English Pub/micro brewery in the middle of nowhere in the Brittany countryside. We had lovely pints of pale ale and home cooked food. Not haute-cuisine but all the better for that. The hosts were lovely and they had donkeys in the...field next door. Give it a try you won't be sorry.
