The oceaneer offered a great beach stay for my son and me. we have never been to the sea and it was great to see the magic in the eyes of my young as he and I went along the beach in the night. screaming to brenda, who was as friendly as possible.

This is the right place for native nc this our secret little. very quiet and secret! beat the e60 and eat at wings and fish in shallotte, nc shout chef groves! stay in the carolina beach oceaneer room 108! and if you don't know. Now you know!

From a surf fisherman's perspective this motel is just about perfect, its not fancy , nor pricey, there is one of those types right beside it. Its 10 minutes from Ft Fisher where surf folk can drive the beach and get away from the crowds. Come evening when its time to grill a steak and have a drink its perfect ! As evenin wears on there is a boardwalk to the beach where we can pull a chair up and put some fish in the cooler ! For family's w/ children this is a lower cost alternative w/ a nice fenced in pool.....its not perfect but it suits me and my buddy's just fine

This hotel is old and not very well maintained. it is clean and beautiful that it was ozeanfront. the pool was clean. parking was terrible. we had to park a block away or pay a parking lot. the personal was very nice.

We met with an unfriendly person who only tried here but without enthusiasm. we got our keys and said we were the room. to come to the third floor, we had to go up three steps. we came into our room and we were surprised that we just came in the 1960s. two very large beds with throw bed spreads out. (the beds were comfortable) . an older tw in a regal unit and a bathroom that had only a toilet and bath shower. the flush was in the main room, which also the coffee machines and hanging bar to put clothes. the walls in the bathroom and who painted the bathroom just painted over everything. I looked around to find a place I could use my laptop and the only place was a bed. No convenient way to work. about half an hour later they brought up a big folding table, but there was no chair to sit. the large window in the room was a beautiful view of the sea and the swimming pool. When they closed the drapes, they had to arrange the curtains around the air conditioning, otherwise the curtains did not fit around the air conditioning. the best was that all the great restaurants in the opposite was the rettung of our holiday along with the beautiful beach and beautiful pool.
