They made us feel like old friends very quickly as we shared stories, recommendations and even suggestions for what try next time. Oh, and do not forget the pecan pie at the end! Absolutely wonderful experience all around. We will be making this a regular stop!
My wife and I had lunch after church. I had the spicy fried chicken, which is always good! The chicken breast was large though a little tougher than usual. The Brussels were a bit over cooked snd not as tasty as usual. The crackling potatoes were perfect. Have to admit, lunch for $50 when you only order water to drink is not a great value.
We arrived a little earlier than expected for our reservation. The front desk staff was very accommodating and had us seated right away in a quiet area. Food and service were very good. We will definitely be back!
Four of us had an early dinner so we beat the rush. Service was great. The pace of meal and service was very good. We each ordered something different and each of us was very happy with our choice. Meatloaf is often overlooked on any menu, but i highly recommend the Tupelo Honey meatloaf.
We came for Father's Day brunch. We were seated right away on the patio and our server was sweet. My classic ****** Mary was tasty! But the food, which is the #1 reason to go to a restaurant, was disappointing. I ordered the chicken waffles. The waffles were fine but the chicken was incredibly overcooked. Honestly this would have been visible to anyone in the kitchen and the food runner since the fried breading was so dark, but they served it anyway which tells me a lot. My husband had the fried chicken eggs Benedict. Same issue with the overcooked chicken and the hollandaise sauce was sweet, which was odd. One child had the Sriracha chicken waffles (again way over fried) and over sauced and our other child had a grilled cheese and fries, which turned out to be the best thing that was ordered, go figure. Greenville had so many delicious restaurants that we won't make the mistake of dining here again.
