Golden Pollo - Carpentersville

I decided to check out this restaurant to see if the food lived up to the reviews, and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the steak burrito, and it was incredibly flavorful. Everything seemed fresh, and there were no complaints about the ingredients. I was very happy with my meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Mexican food nearby—it's a great option without having to travel all the way to Elgin for the same quality and value.

Mari Elisa was an excellent server; she really knows how to handle new customers with ease. The food was fantastic, although I think a bit more rice would have been a nice touch. Overall, I had an amazing experience, especially with the carne asada!
