The Glen Bar And Restaurant - Carradale

Nizza Bar and Restaurant offers meals for up to three people and then from six onwards. When we dined there, we had made a reservation. We ordered macaroni and cheese with chips, as well as steak pie with chips. I was pleased with our choices. We didn't request a salad or vegetables, as we preferred what we ordered. It's not very common for restaurants to accommodate preferences like this. Well done to them!

I visited the Glen Bar while camping in Carradale and was pleasantly surprised to find pints of Guinness for under £4. The bar was quite busy during lunch, and the food looked good. I was hoping to eat that afternoon and noticed that fish and chips were on the dinner menu, but not the lunch menu. I inquired about it and was told that it was available with a wait of about 20 minutes. It turned out to be one of the best fish and chip dinners I've ever had, and the homemade tartar sauce was excellent. I highly recommend this place!

A lovely spot to have lunch. We stopped in to shelter from the weather on our bike ride. We were made to feel very welcome despite being soaked through from the rain. Friendly staff, attentive service and tasty food.
