Restaurante L-Colesterol - CARRAPATEIRA

My friend and I had the 3 course menu and it was sooo fantastic! for one started an amazing dal, then a curry with rice and afterwards this so fabulous mandel cake (which we really would like to have the recipe for? <3) the atmosphere was great, we even had live music. it was one of the most perfect places I was so far.

We went with a big group of friends and we were really kind. eating was different than classic restaurant round, seemingly creative, amazing taste in my favorite place around. the service was perfect and the timing of eating very fast. the place has a really cozy style.

I will always remember the slowly cooked bark meat I had on catus! one of the most amazing culinary experiences I had. it was so good that I came back the next day! They really feel the passion that the chef puts in his dishes!

We had lunch here and ordered some pulled pork, some octopus and a salad. It was very well prepared and felt very relaxed. The pulled pork can also be ordered as a hamburger and the grilled octopus was delicious. A great place for a nice...lunch after the beach. They play nice music and the area also has a chill area to relax and enjoy maybe just a coffee. Service was very nice and recommended us some dishes, we walked out feeling very peaceful.

Myself and my girlfriend were visiting family for a couple of days (who were renting a much more expensive villa nearby for longer term). We were attracted to L. Colesterol by the low price to be perfectly honest, and the facilities were exactly as described...and more than adequate for our needs. In addition to this however is an incredible location (literally a 5-10 minute walk to the best beach I have ever experienced in my life), very nice laid back breakfast buffet and free access reasonable quality wifi. The village/town of Carrapatiera is modest and this is located towards the north end (much nearer the beach than the town), but everything is easily accessible with a bit of a walk, including a very nice restaurant with excellent fish at the end of the road. The bed was comfortable, shared bathroom was absolutely fine and only with one other room. We had a balcony which linked to three other rooms, which was perfect for cooling down and drying swimming clothes. Only downside was no mirror in the room which particularly annoyed my girlfriend.
