Mauds Ice Creams - Carrickfergus

The best ice cream I've ever had. I can't wait to try the waffle and hot chocolate next time. The only thing missing is more indoor seating.

Every time I visit my hometown, Mauds is my go-to place. I have been a fan of Mauds since I was a child when it was handmade in the back of the video store on Carnmoney Hill. Even though it is now mass-produced, the taste has never faltered. My favorite flavor will always be Pooh Bear. Additionally, the pastries and chocolates are excellent.

I am a big fan of good ice cream, and it's difficult to find anything better than Mauds. Although prices seem to be going up everywhere, Mauds is no exception. However, every now and then, I like to indulge in their delicious, creamy ice cream, especially the banana flavor!

We were staying in an apartment next door, so just had to have some ice cream from Mauds. Absolutely delicious and could easily compete with ice cream parlours in places like Germany and Italy. Looking out from the apartment window and the constant flow of customers is testament to how good and popular Mauds is. Great asset to Carrickfergus.

An impromptu visit but worth the effort. Coffee and cakes all well done and well served. Didnt't try the ice creams. Too cold.
