Catfish House - Carrollton

In my opinion, this is one of the best catfish restaurants around. The catfish is consistently crispy, hot, and fresh. They offer a wide variety of options beyond just catfish, including combo meals, shrimp, oysters, and more. The waitstaff is always prompt in checking if you need anything and in clearing the tables. Don’t let the strip mall location deceive you—once you try it, you’ll see why it could become your favorite too!

Today was my fist day here and this was delicious I had the four fried shrimp and 2 Filet with sweet potato fries it was very good. I can’t wait to try the grilled selections. I was very pleased and would recommend them. They do need to work on there customer service.

The best catfish I've had in a long time! My friend ordered the catfish while I went for the shrimp gumbo, which was recommended by the staff. Both dishes were amazing and pleasantly not overloaded with sauces. I also loved the ambiance of the place. True to its Cajun theme, they offered a wide selection of hot sauces, which I've arranged in a picture from my favorite to least favorite. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this spot, especially if you love catfish like my friend does!

Wow! This is undoubtedly the best catfish in town! My husband had the best fried green tomatoes he’s ever tasted! The hush puppies were the best I’ve had in ages. I’m really impressed by the variety on the menu; it feels like everything is made from family recipes! I’ve already called my family who live out of state to tell them where we’re taking them for their first dinner here!

This is my favorite fish place in carrollton. I usually buy the fried catfish but I discovered that their grilled fish is tastier healthier. It actually doesn't matter what you order because it is served fresh of the fryer. The restaurant's atmosphere is clean and relaxing. I'll definitely be back
