Contribuisci feedbackI reserved 6 for June 22 at 6:30. I assumed that since I made my reservation on Open Table, and responded to an email the next day to confirm my reservation that we were good for our dinner / birth plans to go on the 22nd. But on arrival this evening we were told that Grill 19 was closed for a private event and that the kitchen was not even open. Needless to say, we were not impressed by the complete lack of communication from Grill 19, which did not attempt to contact me in advance to advise the private event so that I could make a reservation elsewhere. Instead, my party was beaten to the left by 6, which comprised 2 elderly people (with birthday cakes, gifts and balloons in the tow) to find another restaurant that could immediately accommodate us. Very bad management and reflection on Grill 19, and unfortunately after this experience we are in no hurry to return.
The Mother's Brunch Buffet was too expensive, it was good, but not worth $50 per person, without drinks.
The menu has almost completely changed and they have been rid of so many things we loved. My husband ordered the file (because they no longer had his preferred court. The steak was rarely ordered and medium arrived rarely, but the outside was very charred. He said it was essentially tasteless. My ribeye sandwich was pretty good. The meatball appetizer was good too, I say it. It used to be one of our favorite spots. It's just not what it used to be.
It was very nice atmosphere. Beer is good for size you get. The pork chop taste was good but the food and plate where cold. Date ordered the chicken fried steak said has wonderful taste and very delicate, but the plate and the food was cold. We told the hostess and waitress about the temperature and Hostess said she let the cook know. Was not looking for a free meal, but an anger comes to talk to us, or even the cook would have been of thought when we spent over 50.. I will say there will be another shot because it taste was good and I usually do not give second chances when my food comes cold here is to hope the second time is a charm.
I had made a reservation for 6 people on June 22nd at 6:30. I assumed that everything was set for our dinner plans since I booked through Open Table and confirmed my reservation via email the following day. However, when we arrived at Grill 19 that evening, we were informed that the restaurant was closed for a private event and the kitchen was not even open. This lack of communication from Grill 19 was disappointing, as they did not reach out in advance to inform me of the situation so I could make alternate plans. My party of 6, including 2 elderly individuals, was left scrambling to find another restaurant on short notice, with birthday cake, presents, and balloons in hand. This poor management by Grill 19 has left us hesitant to return in the future.
