Shinsen Sushi - Carson City

I've never really been the one for sushi, but I've literally never had the pleasure to eat such amazingly delicious and beautifully crafted food before going to Shinsen Sushi! Truly amazing!! ?

Hay, for a sushi bar with and active pizza oven (also used for mussels and eel , open to a casino floor with smoking and a sake list served by an Italian restaurant.... it is pretty darn good. Fresh and creative sushi. Great cutters. All u can eat could be death by sushi. Went two times on one trip.

The sushi here is fantastic, but the customer service is quite poor. I've been coming to this restaurant for years, and the service has always been average. However, my last visit on New Year's Day was particularly disappointing. I was trying to place a takeout order, and when I arrived, the hostess, who also takes orders, informed me that she was busy and would be with me in a few minutes. I ended up waiting for 45 minutes with no further communication from her. It would have been nice for her to acknowledge the wait and apologize for the delay. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

I called to check if I needed a reservation at the Italian restaurant, but I only got their answering machine, and no one returned my call.
