Pura Vida Mexican Food - Carson

I've never been able to eat non-vegetarian Mexican food, so I was excited to try it out here. Totally exceeded my expectations. Linda was so kind and gave great recommendations on what to order. And the food was SO GOOD!

A hidden gem Mexican Halal food served with love. Generous portion sizes and good service. Tried the following items and loved them all: Chicken burrito very flavorful Carnes Asada fries with beef, veggies and sauces really hit the spot! a variety of tacos with chicken and veggies in a crunchy shell quite delicious! Horchata cool rice milk beverage They gave complimentary nachos on the side. Also shoutout to their sauces we got four different types and for each hot sauce, there was a mild version. Very interesting artwork in the restaurant itself.

I heard alot of good things about this Mexican restaurant so today was the day that I decided to see what the hype was about. I've been craving some goooood Mexican food and yes they did delivered!! I ordered the shrimp nachos and the portion size was more than enough. I was able to eat off of it twice and share. I also ordered a few deep fried jalapenos on the side *sorry not pictured* and they were delicious too. I was very undecided on what to order because there was so many eye catching items to choose from but the cashier was a big help. He was very patient and went through the entire menu with me, letting me know about the popular items as well. The portion sizes of their menu items are amazing, not skimpy at all. I was curious about the fish tacos and he showed me the size of the fish that goes in a taco and I was blown away you guys!!! Seriously. If you want a real fish taco this is where you come, no baby fish over here lol. Pura Vida definitely value their customers hungry tummies LOL. Now, let's get into the taste.. These nachos were very much packed with flavor, good shrimp size portions, fully loaded with veggies and your typical nacho topping. The chips used for the nachos got a little soggy but it was expected due to how loaded they were. I definitely recommend checking out this place, if you want authentic filling mexican food Pura Vida got you covered. My overall experience was great and I will DEFINITELY be back

Ḥalāl Mexican Food There food is so so so good. It is absolutely delicious. I love this carne asada, and their soup. But once the employees suggested getting their fish, my wife and I cannot stop ordering their fish. Is it literally the best fish tacos we have very had in our entire lives. No question. Horchata is amazing. Beans and rice are fantastic. Carne asada nachos or fries are really good.

Good food at good prices. Takes about 15 mins for your order so I recommend calling in advance. The food is hot and fresh and the staff is friendly. I will definitely come back when I’m in the area!
