We loved this place and found the service to be really good on a relatively quiet Monday night. The food was really delicious, especially the fantastic fresh fish it's a fishing village after all. Do be aware you pay per 100 gram and fish is not a set price. The only things on the menu possibly frozen were the fries. Desert was also very good. We had swordfish and Dorado which is not so easy to find in the UK and certainly not this fresh/big so was happy to pay a little more. It's also the oldest restaurant in the village apparently.
I had lunch here with my wife and two small children. I had a hilarious series of exchanges with the waiter (terrible Spanish from me, terrible English from him), who was very patient and accommodating. I nearly got what I ordered! We ate on the town side of the restaurant, but there is a pleasant seating area to the from with great views over the sandy gently-shelving banks of the estuary. Food was nice, staff were friendly. It was slightly pricey for what we had, but tasty (lamb chops were lovely). I cant in all honestly rate this as very good as we had a basic experience through choice because of the kids, but perfectly good place to stop for lunch
Very well situated restaurant with outstanding views of the estuary. Service was ok but a lack of English meant orders were lost in translation so we didn't get what we expected. Two dishes arrived long after our friends had eaten. It wasn't very busy for an establishment of it's size so I expect it does better in summer. My fish was fine but those of our friends eating meat were disappointed. Bubbly lady was a friendly waitress but mainly we were treated in ordinary uninspired fashion. Truly a bit disappointing.
The location is nice but the place itself is quite sad and cold, the fish was average but the meat was dry and everything drowned in olive oil. Quite expensive bill.
