El Quetzal Bakery - Carthage

This was earlier a really good Guatemala store / bakery. I stopped two years ago and it was great. it's not a Mexican business anymore. I'm pretty sure that the property was changed. so sad!

The food was great! And the people at the register are very nice

Just walking into the restaurant and the bakery smells amazing. Mix of Salvadoran and Mexican options and everything is delicious. There's also a market attached to the restaurant and bakery. I've had tacos and papusas here before, and today it's the carne asada and a papusa with an agua de jamaica. This isn't an Americanized place that has lost all the culture and flavor, go check it out if you're wanting something authentic.
