Marco's Pizza - Carthage

I recently tried the takeout pizza from this restaurant and it was the best pizza I have ever had. I ordered the vegetarian pizza with Italian sausage and white sauce, and I was especially impressed with the crust. It was perfectly cooked, not too hard or crunchy. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. The service was prompt and efficient, and the meal was great for lunch. The price per person was between $10-20. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5, the service a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 2 out of 5.

The restaurant has always been excellent, but tonight there was a slight hiccup. When placing a delivery order, a new employee named Flynn took my order. Flynn was friendly and eager to help, but seemed a bit confused at one point (which was easily resolved with our patience, considering he is new and still learning). Another employee, Lisa, abruptly took the phone from Flynn to verify the address, even though it had already been provided. She mispronounced my name and wanted to retake the order. I insisted that Flynn was doing fine and asked for him to be put back on the phone. Flynn was able to quickly and effortlessly take the order once again. Lisa could use some improvement in her communication skills. Flynn is the type of employee that you want working at the restaurant. I am confident that the pizza will be delicious.

I came in after the theater to get a take out pizza. The pizza was wonderful. The person that waited on me was nice. But I had no where to sit while waiting on my pizza. It was about an hour before they closed and all the chairs were up on the tables so I had to stand while my pizza was prepared and cooked. Vegetarian options: My favorite pizza is black olives and mushrooms. Parking: I parked in a handicap space right near the door. Service: Take out
