Masons Arms, Strawberry Bank

Don't ask for anything off the website menu as the manager doesn't agree with offers and not their thing. Great pub if you want the managers dog sniffing at your food as he isn't bothered to notice he has wondered of from him. Food and drink not as good as previous visits and huge leaks in and outside the toilet. Been to this pub loads of times over the years and always make a special journey. Thanks for saving me time in the future and giving me the opportunity to see what quality pubs are really like in the area. Ps love the sister pub at Troutbeck, maybe need to swap managers and do some retraining. Service: 1

Probably best book ahead. This is a popular and cozy place in the beautiful Forest of Bowland, up in the hills. Service: 5 Location: 5

Fantastic experience. Friendly staff and helpful. I'd go back many times. Loved it all. Rooms: Decorated to a high standard and on a theme. Nearby activities: Nice walks and easy access to other places of interest Safety: All good no complaints. Walkability: Lots of wals on your doorstep. Couldn't ask for more Food drinks: Excellent food and service. You couldn't fault any of it. Noteworthy details: Great decoration in the room and good quality beds.
