Restaurante O Nuno - Carvoeiro

Away from the main village but well worth the short drive for good honest food and great hosts. Our favourite restaurant in the area. Great value and the tastiest Piri Piri chicken we had. Can also highly recommend the swordfish. Nuno and his wife (who does the cooking) are a lovely couple who are fantastic hosts.

I have driven past O Nuno more times than I can count, and finally today we had lunch there. The setting is nice. The food was quite good and the service was excellent. The menu has many of the classical Portuguese dishes, all well done.

A somewhat limited menu but the food was really tasty, plentiful & good value and served by friendly charismatic owner!

Visited for lunch very nice fresh fish and pleasant owner. nice patio area to sit either in shade or sun

Beware! Despite the information, this place is NOT located in Sao Miguel Island but near Faro in Portugal! We spent almost two hours to ask the locals for finding this place... before understanding the location "bug" !!!!
