I always get the smoked potato salad when it's hot. It is not the typical potato salad, it is smokey and naughty. I think it's best to eat it when it's warm at least. The Mac and the cheese is really good, made with Gouda. I could have been done for me without the Brussels sprouts. My partner loves the bride. The server was great. She made it particularly pleasant. We went on a Sunday at 2 a.m. and the place felt comfortable. Many parking spaces in front of the restaurant.
My family and I had a great experience here. Great atmosphere, our server was amazing and my Foodie brother lived everything he tasted! The boys loved the selection and flights of beer. Personally, the potato salad is to die and the Soul Egg Rolls are so unique and amazing. I had the brisket before and it was great Juicy. It was a bit dry today, but we didn't complain. Overall a clear victory.
Great place for authentic BBQ, and the pages are delicious, make sure to get the Sriracha brussel sprouts! They use a dry rub, which I prefer, pasty sauces use some places for taste. The burned ends were much better than the ribs that came out a bit soggy for my happiness. Great beer choice too. All about a visit worth when you're in the area.
My partner and I went on Taco Tuesday for 1/2 off tacos and beer. We had a brisket and a pork taco, she had the potato salad side and I got the Macn cheese. The best class! Between us we had 3 beers and even tried two others! The sum was only $30! Wow!
First off, the burnt ends were amazing and why they get 3 stars. The Mac cheese and smoked potato salad were tasty, and the sausage had a nice snappy casing. Unfortunately, the other meat (chopped BBQ, chicken, chicken wings, and slice of brisket) was extremely dry, lacked flavor, and the brisket was tough to cut with a knife. It was not fall apart, fork tender like the burnt ends. The kale slaw left very much to be desired, as it was literally some kale with shredded carrots and a light vinegar coating. The corn bread was a bit dry. The two available barbecue sauces were disappointing at best. Overall, the meal was way too expensive for the quality of the meat preparation.
