My husband's first alternative proposal was Red Lobster, and while I love it there, it was a local who was in our service, in food and ambience the last two times, so I was skeptical. My best friend suggested this place I didn't even know was here, but I'm sure she did it!! First, the service was impeccable; Will was our waiter and he was from the beginning to the end! He was very attentive, personal and knowledgeable about the various food options! I would highly recommend asking him as a server! Others there also work repeatedly checked on our table so that we were never allowed to wait for something! In addition, the food was excellent!! Hot, fresh, tasteful, plentiful and definitely we all have very satisfied! This is one of our new favorite places and we will certainly be back! In this day and age of less than stellar experiences in restaurants due to supply chain and personaling questions, this place is a diamond in the Ruff!
We had this last night for the first time. I love crab legs and the snow crab clusters were very good! Two clusters came with a potato and a small piece of corn. I would only suggest offering more maize stuffs with the clusters. The potato contained in me and the piece of corn were delicious, but very small. Seems a $40 duck should contain a bit more. Very delicious. We will definitely go back!
My wife loves this place. The only decent crab place nearby, but do not miss the fried selections. While she loves to cook the Cajun style crab, I prefer the fried shrimp or Calamari. The bread is really simply perfect, light, crispy and not oily at all. The sweet potato fries are a little blazing, so I will probably go with another side, but all in all we enjoy the food. Sitting and decor is pretty good. The only grip is the pricing for the crab chef, but this is to be expected with this kind of food. If I could recommend a change, you have ?pick 2? options for your fried foods. In a position to order shrimps and oysters, or catfish and calamari, on the same plate this place would make perfect for me.
Found this place when shopping in the area. Fast and extremely friendly service. Great food for the price. Recommend the crab and shrimp combination for two. The food is served in a bag. It'll be creepy. But that's the point. They offer all the utensils you need to enjoy some Cajun seafood. The toilets were also top notch!
Was not overly pleased with this meal. The shrimp was a fair size and flavor with an OK serving of waffle cut sweet potato fries. All were cooked fine, though there was nothing exceptional about their flavor or presentation. Others with me tried the crab cakes and the pound of steamed shrimp. The crab cakes had a very soft and sweet flavor/texture and the steamed shrimp was standard fare. We did order a side of the rice sausage, which was quite good but didn 't make up for the underwhelming performance of the rest of the meal. We tried 2 different cheesecakes and thought they were a little too off for our tastes. It tasted like the crust had a garlic and salt flavored oil as the binder. On its own, the crust was not very appetizing. Having the crust with the cake filling, as one is supposed to eat it, the crust imparts an odd salty oily flavor to the bite. Not a fan of the desserts.
