Contribuisci feedbackI ordered a large Italian sub and received a sandwich with only bread, lettuce, tomatoes, and dressing - no meat. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until I got home during my lunch break, so I won't be returning to this restaurant.
I'm not a big fan of soups, but I must say that the broth at this restaurant was delicious. It had a roasted flavor, although it wasn't crispy, and it was very flavorful. I ordered the steak and cheese dish, which was also tasty. However, my favorite part was the self-serve soft drink machine. If it wasn't for the tempting array of desserts next to it, I would have definitely indulged in one (or maybe two).
I tried the Jamaican Turkey Sub at this restaurant for $11, which came with a medium drink and chips. The food was enjoyable, but I was disappointed that they do not offer free drinks and chips for veterans like other locations in the state. I asked the staff and even had my valid ID as a veteran ready to show, but the young employee was kind and understanding while the owner listened. They then asked if I wanted to round my total to support our local heroes.
Been here a few times past couple years, always see the same nice guys working and food consistently well made ?
This is possibly the most disorganized Firehouse. We placed an online order today for pick up. And for the third time they forgot something, this time it was two bags of chips and the extra pickles. Now, I'm not sure if there is a charge for the extra pickles, but there definitely is for the chips. I called the restaurant, and the young man's response was, Well, you are welcome to drive back and pick up the chips Except by then I would lose the time I have allotted to actually eat my lunch, and I waste the gas and time needed to go get the pickles. When I point this out to him his response is, That is true, that is true, is there anything else I can get for you Yes, kiddo, how about some halfway decent customer service? How about, Hey, we're so sorry that happened, the next time you order I will take $5 off to cover the cost of the missing items and I will make sure I pack your order myself. I will also talk to the guys on the line and make sure they are double checking the orders they fill Thanks a lot Firehouse, you could do yourself a favor and maybe ask some behavioral questions when hiring, and possibly develop a training plan for your employees.
