I've frequented New China several times, but my experiences have often been marred by unpleasant interactions with some of the female staff members. Their demeanor often comes across as rude, which has been consistently off-putting. Moreover, their ordering system, where they require a complete order before handing over the food, seems inefficient and unnecessary. This process would make more sense if there was an option to pre-pay to ensure the order matches the right customer. However, as it stands, it feels like an extra, pointless step that adds to the overall frustration. I've also noticed a concerning pattern that suggests possible racial bias in the way customers are treated. This has been a recurring issue in my visits, leading me to question the inclusivity and customer service approach of the restaurant.
1st time I ate from here was awesome, but this last go round 1 out 10 I’ll give a 2. Rice was dry, noodles was dry. Just wasn’t what I expected
The personnel were amiable, and the service was prompt, leading to an incredibly delicious and perfectly prepared chicken and rice meal. The quality of the food was excellent, and I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant. The only disadvantage is the additional fee for peas and carrots, as most places do not charge for these items. Regardless, I am certainly going to return here for more scrumptious meals.
