I noticed they recently adjusted their closing hours from 9 PM to 8 PM for the season, but when I walked in at 8:15, they graciously offered to prepare a meal for me even though they were nearly done for the night. The staff was very kind, and the food was fantastic. We will certainly return!
We ordered the Falafel Appetizer, Koshari, Gyro with Baba Ghanouji, Walnut Baklava, along with Mint Lemonade and Turkish coffee. Each dish was incredibly delicious and offered a delightful blend of unique Mediterranean flavors, showcasing both Egyptian and Greek cuisine.
The Koushari here is absolutely delicious! The hummus is excellent, and I really enjoyed the freshly baked pita bread! The falafel had a hint of sweetness that reminded me of funnel cake, which I wasn't a fan of, but I still ate it! The restaurant is clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely return whenever we're craving Koushari!
We're drove to Cary and while there thought about going to an old hangout to have lunch. Only to find out it no longer was there. We decided on trying Nile Café. We were not disappointed. The owner was so friendly, the food was true to the heritage. And it was well worth the price. The café is small and warm. If you are ever in the area of this restaurant I hope you will give them a try. We will make the 35 min drive just to eat here again.
First time eating here. I had the Lentil Soap and Turkey sandwich. With Cardamom tea. Very tasty and surprisingly filling. I'm definitely coming back to try something else. I will be ordering the Tiramisu dessert for sure.
