(and it didn't look like grilled chicken, kind of like a chicken patty? it was strange. the dressing tasted like straight vinegar and salt that ruined the rest of the salat. the only part I've eaten were gurken, tomaten and hummus. the rest of the salat was tortured. for $10 an salate it was a big disappointment.
The food was really good. Most staff were friendly (a lady seemed to have a bad day). I don't knock a star on it; it was the ground. The floor in a large circle around the beverage machine was beyond sticky. I mean, like it wasn't cleaned in a while. That's weird, because the rest of the restaurant was kept good. You couldn't go to the toilets without coating in your shoes in jail. Luckily it started raining while we were there, so we could wash our shoes before we saved the syrup in our car.
The chicken was crispy and juicy, and the PDQ sauce was better than most Fast Food restaurants' special sauces.
Still the best roasted chicken fast food I ever had. I have no idea why chick-fil-a is still as popular as it is with its completely bland chicken and soggy frits. PDQ actually has taste and texture on it. I'm sorry to see the place that fight, though, the closing of the dining room seems really demoralized the whole staff and everyone seems very cheated out there. I hope things turn around, I drive 90 minutes to get that when I can.
Normally we love eating at PDQ, we think the food is delicious and a valid rival to Chick-fil-a, but after my wife almost ate a raw sandwich, I don't think we'll be coming back again. We didn't want to cause a concern due to another small issue we had with the purchase itself; but this is negligent and can cause harm to someone who might not have noticed.
