After he clarified his order, the waitress took it back, and the manager—who seemed overwhelmed—came to explain that they were out of tonic too. In the end, my dad settled for a beer. While this was disappointing, we felt more for our waitress, who appeared distressed by the ongoing mix-ups and kept apologizing. We assured her we weren't upset, especially not with her, and I made sure to leave her a generous tip. Sadly, we probably won't be back anytime soon, and I fear that without some management improvements, the restaurant may struggle to stay in business. It's truly unfortunate.
This has been my favorite sushi restaurant for over ten years. I had been away for a while since I was living out of the area, but I was glad to find that the staff is still fantastic. They are friendly and efficient, and my orders come out just right. However, I was really disappointed by the removal of the buy-one-get-one (BOGO) offer for the full sushi menu. The limited selection still available for the BOGO promotion is quite underwhelming, and I can't justify spending $35-$40 for only two sushi rolls. I’m truly let down by this change in their menu.
We visited the restaurant for lunch on a Wednesday, expecting to enjoy some drinks and rolls. In hindsight, we probably should have left as soon as we were seated. The floors had an off-putting stickiness to them. They were out of Chardonnay and several beers, which was quite disappointing. My partner ordered a double gin and tonic but ended up with a diluted single instead. While the sushi was decent, the overall impression of the place was that of a struggling restaurant. When a venue runs out of stock in the middle of the week and isn’t clean, it often signals that it might be on the decline.
Food was decent and it was very convenient to sit next to the playground (where the kids could play as we waited for our order). Service was great our server Gretchen ran after us when we forgot our takeout order. Thanks for going above and beyond!
Highly recommended by others for house rice but I came for the Sushi. My waiter Alexa was nice and very engaging by asking if it was my first time. It was late Friday evening right before closing. I had the calamari and shrimp tempura roll. The sushi was fresh and delicious. I loved the calamari roll. So good!I can 't wait to return to have it again. The service was excellent. My waiter also suggested sushi options and even accommodated my allergies by ensuring there was no avocado and suggesting the BOGO. Great experience. I look forward to coming back here and trying the other locations.
