Loved this place so Tranquil this place did not skip a beat with heated pools and spa experience food was great luxurious at its finest.

It's an expensive place but it is worth it if you have the opportunity. Everything is top notch from the moment you walk into the resort. Pool and walking trail were so nice.

I cannot speak highly enough about The Umstead. I had my Wedding Celebration here and it was truly amazing. Everything from the entire staff, the room, the service, the food, and everything else was above and beyond. It is evident that they truly care about their guests and want to make the experience special. Haley was our coordinator and she was beyond amazing. She was such a joy to work with and made our entire wedding wedding so special! They think of everything so that you can relax and enjoy your day.

Great stay but man that they them lady was tough on my back massage!
