Things started badly. We arrived early evening , so not many customers, but even so we waited for quite a while and nobody came to ask if we wanted drinks. Eventually we had to leave our table to go and ask. The waiter was off hand in response and obviously didn’t appreciate us having asked. This set the tone for the evening. Our order was placed , Linguine Nero and Tortelli di Zucco. Five minutes later, no linguine nero, but we could have white spaghetti, fussili or other white pasta instead. We agreed on spaghetti. The food was passable, but certainly not of the standard we have enjoyed in the past. The sauce for the tortelli was no better than you’d find in a packet. The seafood in the linguine dish was sparse. Sweet was Tiramisu, which Gulli does well. This was up to the usual standard, which was good. The food was passable, but it was the service that upset us more than anything. Flippant, no smiles, no small talk, no pleasantries, just get the job done and get rid of us. No money off for the lack of Linguine Nero. Ending in no tip and no return custom from us.
Five of us had a great meal at this non touristy restaurant that was recommended to us by the Concierge. Prices were very reasonable. We started off sharing some starters their tomato buffalo mozzarella salad and some garlic bread, followed by each person choosing their mains everyone enjoyed theirs (pasta, steak etc). Good red wine recommendation taken and again reasonably priced. Thank you.
We love it Constantly good Great place Great pizza And even the greatest desserts
Um jantar de aniversário no sítio certo. Moderno, acolhedor, simpatia, profissional, ementa ampla de variedade e muita qualidade. Gin de classe. Cascais no seu melhor.
Incrível ambiente. Excelente carpaccio. Comida muito bem confeccionada. Parecia que estava em Itália! E aquele Sr. Francisco Moniz é duma simpatia...
