We also wanted to eat breakfast at 8:30 and every other touristic place opened at 9 or later, so we were greatful to find this one open. Note that they take cash only and that some of the staff speak no English (and have little patience to help you figure out how to say ham and cheese sandwich . Food quality was good and they were also quick to serve (no table service though . And you can sit both inside and outside on the street.
We stopped at Panisol by chance to shelter from the rain. I’m not sure if their main business is a bakery or a café. There are only a few tables, and we were lucky to get a table for the three of us. You have to take a ticket to get in the queue at the counter. One tea, one Americano, one cappuccino and one of the ubiquitous and delicious Portuguese custard tarts was €5.47—great value at a nice place.
Delicious pastries, they melt in your mouth, there is so much to choose from, they few we had were so delicious ,, this is a must for your visit at Cascais
If out early having a walk this place opens at seven. Good choice of coffee and pastries.. Popular with the local fishermen
