It’s a cosy place, and even though it’s not exceptional or particularly exciting cuisine, it’s good old home-style, hearty, Italian/Portuguese cooking that’s perfect for a winter’s night. It was a very satisfying, flavorful meal, and it was excellent value for money. I’m sure we’ll become regulars ...
Amazing food, specially for me, as a vegetarian, I always find it hard to to find veg dishes in Portugal. In Papamassa there's a great variety of delicious dishes and I'd recommend the curry, the pizzas and the tasty desserts (lime tart is just out of this world! . My family (non veg also loves it, and they recommend the lasagna and the pastas. The staff is really nice, always ready to help and always with a great smile! 5*
Very good pizzas, but very slow service loving staff we also have a take away the pizzas were not so good if slightly disappointed, but hopefully only one night off
Been to papa massa already a couple times, always a safe bet. the menu seems very complicated, so many dishes in there. my main choice is in the rule the Brazilian picanha that they can have as much in a regular dish or on eating as they can. they would like option (for a few more euro). even the normal court has a very good part. also the pizzas are good. waiter are pleasant, and the room itself is pleasant. the more difficult is to find out how to get there first, as it goes off from the beaten track. the punishment of the address on the gps is highly recommended when they arrive there.
Good place to dinner before they go out. to drink they try the caipirinha and sangria. I like the pizzas and picanha.
