Hersel's On The Bay - Caseville

My stay was wonderful here! Great private beach. I even got to meet Hersel himself. Very nice man.

We ate here the last 2 days. The nachos, quesadillas and burgers were amazing. The drinks were good and the staff were all very friendly I was even able to win some money on keno.

First time here. Excellent fish n chips. Coleslaw good also. My husband had the blackened whitefish which he really liked with garlic mashed. Nice salad as well. We will definitely go back. Ribs looked good as well. Large portions. More than we could eat!

In the last two years i have attended two weddings at this venue. both times they ran out of food. i dont know about the first one. but i know for a fact the second wedding was planned for 150. ninety eight were in attendance. with about 30 people left to eat. we were completely out of all food items. and it was a good 30 minute wait for anything to be restocked. on the plus side it is a beautiful venue. that is all onsite and the staff was very freindly even in the midst of the chaos. my recommendation would be to be very specific on the meal and do your own figure for the amount. because i have yet to see the owner or manager to get it right!

I recently attended a wedding at Hersel s. The food at the wedding was excellent and well put together. The chalets and penthouse that I saw were in excellent condition. Both had brand new visio TVs in them. The service was great and the team there was very friendly. The resort appears to be several 1970ish motel rooms. We saw Hersel put a lot of money back into the resort to constantly be updating his resort. I don t understand why people are getting bent out of shape on here about the rooms. They were great. Hersel was very accommodating. Great vacation
