Taqueria El Chavo - Cashmere

Great food, fast service, and an easy stop heading back into town.

This is a VERY popular Mexican eatery in town. Nothing fancy. Just down to earth foods and friendly services.

I wrote the first TA review (very positive) for this place and a negative review after it changed ownership and then closed. I am glad to announce that it is back open and very close to the original , authentic quality. The atmosphere and menu is a little more gentrified than before, when you heard more Spanish than English, but still the best Mexican food in town.

This is absolutely the best Mexican food we’ve ever eaten. The home made corn tortillas make every meal delicious. And the owners and servers are welcoming and charming.

Delicious food and super friendly service. The staff was kind enough to give us a free lengua taco to try, and it was soooooo delicious (try it with the habanero salsa)
