Gruner Brothers Brewing - Casper

Great brewery, good beers, fast and friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating. The views from the elevated outdoor patio are awesome. Beer flights available although when I was there I was told that the flight trays were dirty so I had to order full pours and couldn't taste all their beers.

The beer is great, but the food is not. This was the most difficult to eat flatbread. The toppings were put on AFTER the bread was heated and there was nothing to hold the toppings on the bread. A little oil or even a quick run through the broiler would have wilted the spinach enough to get the toppings to stay on. Service was mediocre, but you're asked to tip before your food comes out.

Party had the burger, chicken sandwich, and chicken tenders. Everyone was rather disappointed with the food. Stale bread, over baked fries, and meat was clearly pre-made and frozen. Can’t speak on the beer but assuming it’s better as the food probably isn’t keeping them in business.

The beer and the views were fantastic, but the french fries were incredibly dry. Overall, it was a somewhat forgettable experience during our eight-day fly fishing trip.

What a disappointment! We would rate this place a 4 or 5-star if it weren't for the food and the cleanliness issues. We arrived right when it opened on a Saturday at 11 AM and were the only customers there. All the tables were still dirty from the night before. The food consisted entirely of frozen items, and either burned or overcooked. They were out of ranch dressing, and most of the ketchup bottles on the tables were empty or nearly empty. This was definitely the worst meal we've had in a long time! It's a shame because the place has so much potential, and the beer is fantastic!
