What a royal waste of time. A sprawling property on Mandrem beach, Bardos is just another clone of the beach pubs that proliferate Goa. Overpriced alcohol, dark, excessively decorated and insipid music. I'm not a big fan of electronic dance music because it makes mockery of all the three terms. The music sounds like it was composed by a dyslexic android while the dancing involves testing the tolerance levels of your joints. Not to say that I am against people enjoying in their own style but why would I go to Bardos when it's just as easy to clone at home or anywhere else. For some reason they have menacing looking bouncers - very un-Goan. To make a long story short, I apologise for having wasted your precious time just to tell you that you're not missing anything if you've not gone to Bardos.
Went there in the day time, amazing ambiance as you sit next to the pool, amazing progressive music, good cocktails, overlooking the beach, which is very quite and clean. amazing people.wonderful to sit and relax in the afternoon and an amazing sunset from the deck....loved it so much that went again twice ...
We friends visited Bardo on 12th February 2014. The place is made well with excellent natural and man-made landscaping. However, the F&B is horrible. They tend to fleece guests. We had ordered a pitcher of Long island iced tea, which to our surprise was coming to be more expensive then ordering the same per glass. The taste was also questionable. When we spoke to the f&b, they were hell bent they were correct. When we asked them to call the manager, they simply avoided. Our recommendation is that one should go to this place only if a private party is being held, else there are much better places to go rather then wasting your time.
Spent a few hours at a place- very relaxing....use Google Maps...this property is on Ashwem Beach...was under renovation/ upgradation when we visited...but the pool side is great, with parasols, neat swimming pool..not very crowded..and opens onto Ashvem beach- a great place to unwind if you are looking for a nice, private time away from the hubbub!
