After hearing fantastic reviews about this place, we made it a priority to stop for lunch. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The fried pomfret was coated with a thick batter and the prawns were not very fresh. Hygiene standards were also lacking.
The seafood at this restaurant is excellent with a great taste. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They have parking available. The baked fish dishes are fantastic.
We visited this restaurant on Sunday for Lunch. There was long queue and had to wait for 30 minutes to get a table. The food was tasty and excellent. Fried fish was great. There is always chaos but you need to tune. King fish quality...was good. Overall do not miss chance to visit this restaurant if you in Sawantwadi.
It's a place for seafood lovers.. called a khanaval' in marathi..Not much ambiance , just some chairs and tables.. in summer it's very hot.. but all these things don't really matter because of authentic food that they serve hear.. For seafood lovers recommended thing is...bangada , mori and tisare i.e. mackerel , baby shark and shellfish. For novice you have pomfret , prawns and kingfish.. Try solkadhi here..
